Graduates of these schools currently studying music in a college or conservatory may also apply. Eligible applicants will be asked to interview and perform informally on Saturday, April 7, 2012, in Oregon State University’s Benton Hall. The Guthrie scholarship is designated for students who wish to make their careers as teachers of music; the Jenks scholarship is for students who wish to study music in college but not necessarily to become teachers.
