Bluegrass fans — come enjoy the Bullskin Opry from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Wooddale Grange in Bullskin. This is on Route 982, between Laurelville and Connellsville, 938 Pleasant Valley Road. There will be a bluegrass open stage and jam session. Doors open at 6 p.m. Food and drink will be for sale. Jam session will be downstairs and the stage upstairs. The Opry will repeat the first Saturday of each month. This Opry is based on previous events that were held at White and moving to Donegal, Indian Head then Ohiopyle. Springtime Hill Barn Band will be hosting and providing the sound. Friends and volunteers will be helping out. Saltlick Township Volunteer Fire Department will hold a Hunter's Banquet from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Donegal Community Center, 113 Community Center Lane, Donegal. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Twenty-five guns will be given away with a special gun awarded by the evening Daily Lottery number at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased from local firemen or at most local businesses.
